No minimum required; Penn Engineering recommends aiming for at least TOEFL 5.0 (new scale) or 100 (legacy 0-120 scale), IELTS 7.5, DET 135. At-home TOEFL/IELTS accepted. Waiver if, by matriculation, you graduate from a US programme, attend school in a country where English is an official language, or graduate from an English-medium institution with this indicated on the transcript.

- Statement of purpose (two pages or less); two letters of recommendation (one from a faculty member); professional resume; unofficial transcripts in English with grading key (official only if admitted); $95 application fee. Applicants without a CS undergraduate degree are directed to the Master of Applied Science in Computer Science (MAS-CS) or MCIT instead. Applications reviewed on a rolling basis; all decisions released by April 1. CIS states average GPAs cannot be provided because GPA methods vary by country but candidates are expected to have a high GPA; average admitted GRE (Fall 2022) V160/Q168/AW4.3; no minimum GRE.
