We collect your details, grades, test scores and CVs only to give you a fit check-up report and, if you ask, to let a consultant help you. You can download or delete your data at any time from your account page.
Who we are
CVdoctor (简历医生) is operated by [company name and registration number, to be added before launch]. We are responsible for the personal data described here.
What we collect
Your name, email address and language; your education, grades and test scores; your CV files and the facts read from them; your reports; consultation requests and messages; and your feedback. We also record basic usage events (for example, that a check-up was started) to measure whether the service works. To apply fair daily limits, we count check-ups and uploads per account or browser session, together with a code derived from your network address that changes every day; we never store the address itself.
Why we use it
To produce your check-up report, to keep your history, to let a consultant contact and help you when you ask, to send you emails about your account and reports, and to improve the service. We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.
Use of AI
We use an AI service (Claude, by Anthropic) to read the text of your CV and to assess it against a fixed rubric. We send only the text of your CV, with your email address and phone number removed, never the file itself. You review and can correct everything the AI reads before it is scored, and all score arithmetic is done by our own code.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on servers in Singapore. CV files are kept in private storage that only you and the consultants handling your case can access.
If you are in Mainland China
Using CVdoctor means your personal information is sent to and stored outside Mainland China (in Singapore), and your CV text is processed by our AI provider outside Mainland China. We ask for your consent to this when you sign up and when you upload a CV.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active and for up to 24 months after your last activity, then delete it. You can delete everything sooner at any time from your account page; deletion is immediate and confirmed by email.
Your choices and rights
You can see and download your data, correct it, delete it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Most of this is self-service on your account page; for anything else, contact us.
