- How grades are compared
- China: minimum overall average grade 88/100 or 3.6/4; applicants whose current average is below the published minimum have 'no prospect of success' (https://ethz.ch/en/studies/master/application/international-bachelor/prerequisites/minimum-grade-requirements.html)
- Other requirements
- Two recommendation letters in English (letters from academia strongly preferred); motivation letter of about one A4 page. Bachelor's degree must qualify the holder for Master's entry in its own national system. Missing prerequisites may be imposed as additional requirements; admission is impossible if gaps are too large. Applicants with a non-Swiss Bachelor's must apply in the November window; no spring entry. Direct Doctorate option (statement of purpose) in first window only.
