- International direct entry: IB Diploma 34 (completed diploma); GCE A levels 12.0 on UNSW's scale. UNSW scores A Levels on its own scale: minimum two A2 subjects; entry score from the best two, three or four A2 subjects (excluding repeats) with A*=6, A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1; provisional results accepted. Gaokao is accepted for direct entry: requirement is the percentage average of all attempted subjects in the Gaokao; the UNSW 2027 table lists indicative provincial points 525 (70%) - 675 (90%) out of 750 for most provinces (Hainan 630-810/940; Shanghai 462-594/660). Bachelor of Computer Science Gaokao requirement: 75 (percentage average). SAT (after 2016) 1240. International ATAR 88 / UNSW Foundation Studies 7.7 in the 2027 table (row named 'B Science (Computer Science)', same values as the degree page).
