- Admission is to the College of Arts and Sciences, not directly to the major; the Psychology major is open to A&S students in good standing who have passed three or more psychology courses with grades of C+ or better (https://psychology.cornell.edu/major). A&S majors may be declared up to the end of sophomore year. Foreign language rule: heritage speakers or those who began the language before high school must reach at least level 3. A&S writing supplement: one essay, 650-word limit. Application via Common App: $85 fee or fee waiver, official high school transcript, school report, counselor recommendation, two teacher recommendations. Early Decision is binding; ED supporting materials due November 13, RD supporting materials due January 19. International admission is need-aware. No gaokao policy or China-specific grade requirement published.
