Entry requirements

Accepted English tests

TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge Assessment English required for international applicants whose citizenship country's primary language is not English, unless eligible for the English Language Proficiency Waiver. 'The University prefers a minimum TOEFL score of 100 or IELTS score of 7.0, which our department follows.' Whiting School preferred Cambridge 185; scores older than 2 years not accepted. Duolingo: department page says not accepted, but Whiting School page now lists DET (preferred 135) - conflicting.

Other requirements

Required: statement of purpose (about 1-1.5 pages typical), transcripts (unofficial accepted for review), 3 letters of recommendation. 'GREs are not required for any applications and will not be considered.' No minimum GPA ('There are no minimum GPA requirements for an application to be considered'); average GPAs not released. No application fee for master's. No conditional admission. Professional credential evaluation strongly recommended for international applicants but optional.
