PTE Academic 55 (Speaking 55, Writing 59). C1 Advanced 170 (Writing 170, Speaking 170). SAT 1250 (Reading and Writing 60). ACT with Writing composite 30 (English 30, Writing 7). AST English 220. Scores must be within 2 years before the deadline (SAT/ACT 5 years). NTU says English requirements for highly competitive programmes and for non-Science and non-Engineering programmes (Business is one) may be higher than these minimums.
How grades are compared
PRC Gaokao: at least 80% of the maximum Gaokao score, plus a valid CSSD Verification Report from CHSI (https://www.ntu.edu.sg/admissions/undergraduate/admissions/undergraduate/admission-guide/international-qualifications/prc-gaokao)
Other requirements
Nanyang Business School MSR says 'Some candidates may be invited for interviews'. The Gaokao page says only shortlisted applicants are interviewed (so 'INTERVIEW required' means if shortlisted). BBus (Single Major) is a 4-year honours degree of 128 AUs (129 for Finance). Students choose one of seven majors (Actuarial Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Human Resource Consulting, International Trading, Marketing, Risk Analytics) at the end of Year One, so a Finance place is not guaranteed at entry. Gaokao route: current Gao 3 students may apply with Gao 1 and Gao 2 results and must submit Gaokao results within 3 days of release; interviews are in July. Students who did not sit the Gaokao are assessed case by case. AST is optional (3 subjects including English and Maths); if Economics is the third AST subject, only non-Engineering/non-Science programmes are considered. AP is optional (at least 5 tests scored 4 or 5). IB: 'very good combination of 5s, 6s and 7s' (no points published). UK A-level: good passes in at least 4 A-levels in one sitting. IGP (Singapore-Cambridge A-level only) for Business: 10th-90th percentile BBC/B to AAA/A; this does not apply to Chinese applicants.
