Home Edition, TOEFL Essentials/ITP not accepted; IELTS Academic 7 (IELTS Online and One Skill Retake accepted, General not accepted); DET composite 130; PTE Academic 68. Scores must be less than two years old. Exempt: U.S. citizen/PR, citizen of a listed English-speaking country, JHU degree in last five years, bachelor's from accredited U.S. institution, four-year degree in a listed English-speaking country (no waiver for three-year degrees), or WES/ECE evaluation confirming English was the only language of instruction for a four-year degree; medium-of-instruction letters not accepted.

- Work experience: minimum two years of full-time, paid, post-baccalaureate health-related work experience, OR a doctoral degree in a field underlying public health, OR two years of U.S. post-baccalaureate health professional training (MD, DVM, DDS, PharmD, nursing MSN/DNP/PhD); waived for dual-degree applicants except MPH/MBA. Prerequisite math and health-science courses (for June 2027 starts onward) must be completed for academic credit and letter grade at an accredited institution before matriculation. Standardized tests (GRE, GMAT, LSAT or MCAT) optional; without a score, quantitative ability is judged from transcripts/supplemental questions. Apply via SOPHAS: statement of purpose and objectives, resume/CV, three letters of recommendation, official transcripts. Course-by-course credential evaluation (WES ICAP or ECE, U.S.-based) required for all non-U.S. coursework; three-year non-U.S. degrees may sometimes be considered equivalent. Full-time MPH is 11 months onsite, 80 credits, STEM-designated; all admitted applicants considered for scholarships. Online/part-time options (June 2027 or January 2028 start) do not qualify for visa sponsorship.
